How Do I copy files
from Floppy to Hard Drive to Floppy?
1. Put floppy to be copied in A drive.
2. Open
Windows Explorer (In Windows 98:
Start, Program, Windows Explorer; in Windows 2000:
Start, Program, Accessories, Windows Explorer)
3. Click
on C drive in left frame of WinExp to highlight.
4. Click
File, New, Folder (this creates a new folder on the C drive to copy the A drive
files).
5. Click
on A drive in left frame of WinExp.
6. Select
A drive files in right frame (use Edit select all command if you want to copy
all the files).
7. Drag
and drop selected A drive files from right frame to left frame New Folder (just
created in Step 4).
8. Click
on New Folder in left frame to view files copied from A drive.
9. Take
out source floppy and replace with target floppy.
10. Select
New Folder files in right frame.
11. Drag
and drop New Folder files from right frame to left frame A drive.
12. Click
on A drive in left frame to view contents of floppy (the files you just moved
there).
13. You
are done copying files from one floppy to another.
14. Select
New Folder in left frame.
15. Select
files to delete.
Right click on files and select delete if you want to clear the New
Folder.
